In January of 2005, Thermo Electron Corporation announced the introduction of the iSeries continuous gas analyzer platform. This new product line offers significant enhancements over the existing C-Series platform. Outlined in the table below are the production end dates for an initial set of C-Series analyzers and their associated spare parts availability, service end dates and currently available replacement product.
Thermo will continue to provide product introduction announcements to our customers as subsequent iSeries analyzers become available for shipment. Additionally, product discontinuation dates will be provided for the corresponding C-Series analyzers. It is our intention to have the complete set of iSeries analyzers available for purchase by March 2006.
Thermo will continue to provide spare parts* and service for the existing C-Series analyzers through August 2015. This 10 year support plan reinforces the commitment to our customer base to insure that their investment in Thermo analyzers will be maximized throughout the product lifetime.
